This small airport terminal is located in a suburban
area and is used extensively for small plane recreation
and executive business flights.
In addition to the management of the airport,
the air traffic control functions, a lounge area
for waiting, and a pilot’s lounge for pilots
who may be waiting as long as all day for their
passengers, are provided.
The design concept incorporates a two faceted
solution with the side of the building facing
the community being more residential in character,
with traditional materials and colors, and the
side facing the airfield being more contemporary
and high-tech in appearance, similar to the airplanes
which it serves.
